Technical parameters
- Gas chromatograph Agilent 6890N GC, coupled with a mass spectrometer Agilent 5975 MSD. In addition, two detectors are installed, i.e.: FPD (Flame Photometric Detector) and ECD (Electron Capture Detector)
- Two enrichment techniques (depending on the needs): SPME (solid phase microextraction) or TD (thermal desorption)
- Thermal desorber Unity Markes
- Auto sampler Ultra Markes Series 2
- DB1 column (60m x 0,32 mm, covered with a 5 μm thick dimethylpolysiloxane phase)
- A computer that registers the detector's signal and controls the operation of the entire system
Application
Analysis of the composition of exhaled air and volatile compounds emitted from the skin, for medical diagnosis. It is also possible to perform trace analyses of other gas samples.
