I.FAST (Innovation Fostering in Accelerator Science and Technology) of the Innovation Pilot EC program the Particle Accelerator community was hold its 4th Annual meeting in Krakow, Poland, from 8 to 11 April 2025. The event was organized by CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) in cooperation with Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The honorary patronage of the event was provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Mayor of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski.
The recent results obtained by the project Work Packages were presented. Participants had also the opportunity to engage with innovative research that underpins contemporary particle accelerator technologies. Special session was devoted to collaboration with industry, sustainability, and diversity in science and technology.
Additionally, on April 8 and 9, 2024, parallel meetings of working groups and industrial workshops titled "Japan – American - European Accelerators" were held as part of the European I.FAST projects. On April 9, 2024, participants were scheduled tour to the Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN) and visit the Bronowice Cyclotron Center (CCB) as well as the Division of Scientific Equipment and Infrastructure Construction (DAI).
The next I.FAST project meeting is scheduled to take place on October 21-22, 2025, in Geneva.
