PAN-NANU PROGRAM 2025 - long-term visits at PAN

The International Cooperation Department (BWZ PAN) will continue in 2025 the program of co-financing research stays of scientists from Ukraine in scientific units of the Polish Academy of Sciences (based on the Agreement of scientific cooperation PAS-NANU).

In the first place, funding will be given to applications from scientists from Ukraine who will join research teams implementing projects under the LTP Ukraina program (at the invitation of the Project Manager in consultation with the director of the host unit). The length of stay at a scientific unit of the Polish Academy of Sciences for which funding can be obtained is a maximum of 8 months (the possible funding period is May 1 - December 31, 2025).

Financing will be based on a refund based on a report of the mobility visit at PAN and a debit note issued to the Polish Academy of Sciences only on a monthly basis.

Financial conditions - eligible costs

• Accommodation costs (food and accommodation) – PLN 6,000 per month
• Travel costs from Ukraine to Poland - maximum PLN 1,500 (a copy of the document confirming the travel costs incurred is required - invoice, ticket or vehicle mileage records)

Applications will be subject to substantive assessment according to the following scheme:

• assessment of the planned project and the effects of the visit (0-5 points),
• assessment of the scientific achievements of the foreign partner (0-5 points),
• evaluation of the scientific achievements of the inviting person (0-5 points).

Applications that obtain at least 60% of the maximum number of points (9 points and more) will be considered for implementation.

Applications for a visit at PAN should be sent only in electronic form to don@ifj.edu.pl w terminie by April 17, 2025.
