HORIZON EUROPE (2021-2027)
HORIZON EUROPE is a new, ambitious research and innovation program that will replace the HORIZON 2020 program (implemented in 2014-2020). Its budget is around EUR 95.5 billion.
It will be based on three pillars:
Pillar I: Excellent Science:
Pillar II: Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness:
collaborative research on the societal challenges facing Europe and strengthening technological and industrial potential through thematic groups (clusters):
Pillar III: Innovation Europe: targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises, with a budget of over EUR 10 billion.
PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowships Programme
The First Call for applications in the PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowships Programme for interested scholars of any nationality and representing all research disciplines can apply for attractive 2-year postdoctoral fellowships at the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
PASIFIC Programme is co-financed from Horizon 2020 within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in the COFUND call.
The aim of the Call is to develop the careers of researchers by supporting their international mobility and financing prestigious research projects carried out by them at the Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences or the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw.
The PASIFIC fellows will be offered a monthly allowance of approx. €2,500 net. Those, who decide to come to Poland together with their families, may be entitled to an additional family allowance. In addition, they will be granted a research budget of up to €93,000 (€60,000 direct costs and 20% indirect costs).
