I graduated from the

1976.
From then to the end of 2019 I
worked in the
Department of Structural Research and in the
Department of Soft Matter Research of
The Henryk Niewodniczański
Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of
Sciences.
I spent one year at
KFA in Jülich,
Germany. I spent two years and many times few months at
JINR in Dubna,
Russia. I also worked for three months at
Research Center for Molecular Thermodynamics, Osaka University,
Japan (twice).
I have also often visited
IFE in Kjeller, Norway.
I was a member of the
Cracow
Branch of the
Polish Physical
Society, of the Polish Society for Neutron Scattering and of the
Commission for Sciences Philosophy of the
Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.
My wife's name is Maria, but friends call her
Maka.
We have
eight children:
Urszula (
married to Robert Trojanowski),
Dorota (
married to Tomasz Pazdan),
Mateusz (married to Edyta Gromczak),
Marek (married to Emilia Capac),
Agata,
Jakub (
married to Małgorzata Rachwaniec),
Piotr (
married to Agata Bednarek) and
Tomasz.
We have also
eleven grandchildren.
We live
